It occured to me that there were several sites on the web that let you share information. There were wikis for full blown text and sites like del.icio.us for links but there was nothing in between.

I was also driving myself wild with scraps of paper all over my desk with bits of info on. Some were private to me, some were generally useful. What I need, I thought, is some way to put these on the web. That way I can always get to them, they can be seen by others and they won't blow away. In other words a technological solution to a social problem.

The result is scrpbk.com which allows you to add scraps of information and to organize them into groups. These are then available to anyone over the web.

In time I will add several more features turning it into a website that will opefully become useful enough to warrant people paying a subscription to use it, although a basic level of service will be provided for free.
